About the clinic

What is Kirana Skin Clinic and where is it located?
Kirana Skin Clinic is a dermatology clinic located in Ubud, Bali, offering medical and aesthetic skin care services. Our clinic is designed to provide a calm, professional environment where skin concerns are addressed with evidence-based approaches. We serve both local residents and international visitors seeking dermatological care during their time in Bali.
Who are the dermatologists at Kirana Skin Clinic?
Our clinic is staffed by licensed dermatologists registered with the Indonesian Medical Council (IDI) and Perdoski, the Indonesian Society of Dermatology and Venereology. Each physician holds a specialist qualification in dermatology and venereology (Sp.KK or Sp.DVE). Details of our medical team are available on our website and can be discussed when you book a consultation.
How do I book a consultation?
Appointments can be made via WhatsApp, through our website booking form, or by calling the clinic directly during operating hours. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons in Ubud. Walk-ins are accommodated subject to availability. Our team will confirm your appointment and provide any pre-visit guidance you may need.

Treatments

What types of treatments does Kirana Skin Clinic offer?
We offer a range of dermatological services including medical consultations for skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and hyperpigmentation, as well as aesthetic procedures including chemical peels, laser therapies, injectables, and skin rejuvenation treatments. All procedures are performed or supervised by a licensed dermatologist. The most suitable treatment for your skin will be determined during a consultation.
Can a treatment session be combined with a skin consultation on the same visit?
In many cases, yes. If the dermatologist determines during your consultation that a treatment is appropriate and you meet the eligibility criteria, it may be possible to proceed on the same visit, subject to scheduling and preparation requirements. Some procedures require prior skin preparation or a patch test, which may necessitate a separate appointment. Our team will advise you clearly at the time of booking.
How many sessions will I need to see results?
The number of sessions required varies depending on the specific condition being treated, the procedure selected, and individual skin characteristics such as type, tone, and responsiveness. Our dermatologist will discuss realistic expectations during your consultation. Outcomes differ from person to person, and no specific result can be guaranteed in advance.

International patients

Can international visitors book a consultation before arriving in Bali?
Yes. International guests are welcome to contact us via WhatsApp or email before their arrival to schedule an appointment. We can discuss your skin concerns in advance and advise whether a medical consultation or a specific treatment may be appropriate. Please note that a formal diagnosis and treatment plan can only be made in person by our dermatologist.
Do you provide consultations and services in English?
Yes. Our medical and administrative team are able to communicate in English to assist international patients throughout the consultation, treatment, and aftercare process. Written aftercare instructions and summaries can also be provided in English upon request, helping you continue any recommended care after returning home.
What should international patients bring to their first appointment?
Please bring a valid passport or identification, a list of any current medications or supplements, records of known allergies, and any previous dermatology or medical records relevant to your skin concern. If you have been using prescription topical products, please bring them or note the active ingredients. This information helps our dermatologist assess your skin safely and accurately.

Pricing

How is pricing structured at Kirana Skin Clinic?
Consultation fees are charged separately from treatment fees. Treatment pricing depends on the procedure type and the specific protocol recommended for your skin. We provide a clear cost estimate before any procedure begins, so there are no unexpected charges. Prices are listed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Our team is happy to answer pricing questions before your visit.
Can I pay in foreign currency or by card?
Payments are processed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) in accordance with Indonesian regulations. We accept major payment methods including debit and credit cards. For foreign visitors, we recommend checking the current exchange rate with your bank or a licensed money changer before your visit. Please contact us if you have specific payment questions prior to your appointment.

For international patients returning home, instructions are provided in English and include guidance on continuing care after departure from Bali.
Can I get follow-up support remotely after I leave Bali?
We are happy to provide general post-treatment guidance via WhatsApp for patients who have returned home.
